Samsung Care+ for Business

Samsung Care+ for Business protects your devices against any accidental physical or liquid damage, and any technical or mechanical failure.

The assignment period varies depending on which Samsung Care+ for Business plan you purchase:

  1. Accidental Damage from Handling plans have a specific eligibility period.
This period might be 30 days or 60 days from the device activation date*. Please contact your local Samsung Care+ for Business team to check a device’s eligibility period.
  2. Extended Warranty plans should be assigned within the basic warranty period.

*The date when the End User License Agreement for the device is accepted after turning on the device for the first time.

What is Accidental Damage from handling (ADH)?
Accidental damage is considered to be any unforeseen or unintentional physical damage that occurs due to handling errors, liquid or external events at a defined place and time, which stops the product from working normally, meaning its usability or safety is affected.
If your accidental claim is accepted by Insurance then Insurance comapny will either authorize a repair or arrange a replacement.

• If you renew your license then you can continue to use the same license by avoiding the steps associated with switching to a new license.

– In the Knox Manage console, navigate to Settings → iOS → APNs Setting and follow the instructions listed there.

– To manage iOS devices, Apple requires that the APN (Apple Push Notification) service is configured through the MDM solution so that the devices can send/receive communication with Apple servers.

– Once this is set up, you can deploy the iOS devices and the profile should successfully install on it.

– At first, prepare ADE devices on Apple Business manager console (either by reseller or by Apple configurator) and make sure all existing content and settings are erased from the ADE devices.

– Now to enroll iOS devices through ADE (Automated Device Enrollment), follow the below steps:

  1. On the Apple Business Manager console; go to Devices then click on the device “Edit Device Management” and select the Knox Manage server you want to assign.
  2. On Knox Manage admin console; go to Device Enrollment → Apple ADE → ADE Device Management → click Sync ADE to bring the devices into the KM console from the Apple Business Manager console.

    NOTE:
You can configure the ADE profile, device name and enrollment method in advance on the ADE Server Setting page.
  3. On the device, run the setup assistant. The assistant allows you to configure the Remote Managements screen. It is important to sign in using your Apple ID during this process so that the Knox Manage agent is activated and all VPP apps are installed on the device.
